- As IT team leader, you’ll be part of the company’s extended management team on site. You’ll report to the Head of Services who is also a member of the executive board at TecMed in Schwerin.
- In this role, you’ll prepare strategic outlooks, operational topics and connections, as well as short-, medium-, and long-term measures and present these to the Head of Services to support effective decision-making.
- You’ll be responsible for all IT-related matters in the company. You’ll manage all IT activities and ensure a secure, stable and cost-efficient IT operation.
- Your role as IT team leader involves managing the IT budget. You’ll be responsible for selecting, implementing, maintaining and documenting the necessary application and infrastructure landscape. Both on-prem and in the cloud.
- A key aspect of your role will be establishing SLAs and monitoring, managing and coordinating the supporting external IT service providers. It’s therefore very important to have experience in this field.
- In addition to managing hardware, software and data systems, you’ll also be in charge of IT compliance, IT security, interface management (ERP, MES, PLS and production machines), organising efficient error analysis and troubleshooting as well as user training and help. You’ll also be responsible for technical equipment and organising first and second-level support.
- You’ll be leading a small IT team of in-house and external colleagues who will support you in the various fields.
- The ideal candidate will have industry knowledge in a highly-automated manufacturing company, such as medical technology or the pharmaceutical or IVD industry.
- You’ll preferably have experience with middleware technology which we use for the technical connection and data exchange between the production systems and the back-office systems.

- Education: Master’s degree in Business Information Technology / Computer Engineering / Computer Science or comparable academic qualifications
- Experience: at least 10 years’ professional experience in a leadership role in the IT sector and in implementing long-term IT strategies as well as IT project management experience in a production environment
- Know-how: the ideal candidate will have knowledge of the specific requirements and regulations in the field of medical technology, the pharmaceutical industry or IVD. Alternatively, you’re willing to acquire the necessary knowledge about regulations in these fields in a short amount of time.
- Enthusiasm: You’re passionate about helping us shape the site in every way, contribute your ideas and are in constant communication with the departments.
